Genentech Corporate Headquarters - South San Francisco, CA
Master Planning - Developed an Infrastructure Master Plan (in association with HOK, Inc.) for a 22 acre corporate campus accommodating 600,000 square feet of research, office and parking facilities. Developed concept grading plans and a master plan for storm and sanitary sewers, fire and domestic water and gas supply. Prepared conceptual construction cost estimates for site and utility development. Currently engaged in civil master plan for four building office complex, including a 600 vehicle parking gararge. Site Development - Prepared site development engineering and surveying for buildings 3, 9, 24 and 26 and for the Genentech Campus Spine linking DNA Way with Forbes Boulevard (past buildings 3, 5, 7 , 8, 9 and 53). Provided site and utility design for a complex of ‘FRC’ trailers adjacent to buildings 11 and 12. Currently engaged in civil design for building 32.Chiron Life Science Center, Emeryville, CA Provided conceptual design for sitework and utility systems for a major expansion of Chiron corporate, research and development and manufacturing facilities at the 25 acre Emeryville Campus. Provided schematic design, design development and construction documents for Phase 1 civil improvements, tentative map and final map. Work scope included design of infrastructure elements within a highly contaminated environment and utility routing within and around existing slurry containment walls and very large regional drainage conduits traversing the site.Hewlett Packard Building 10, Palo Alto, CA Provided site design, utilities (storm drainage, sanitary sewers, and water), paving, striping, post-demolition construction survey and topographic survey for a two-story office building on this 10.3 acre site. Our crews were HAZMAT-certified for this contaminated site.Oyster Point, South San Francisco, CA Provided an analysis of existing utility systems and design of improvements to water system, sanitary sewer and storm drain for an industrial and business park. Designed all site civil improvements including roadways, sidewalks and parking lots. Prepared subdivision plans and condominium maps. This project was complicated by complex building foot prints which had to be carefully located on the site.University of California at Mission Bay, San Francisco, CA Prepared site improvement and utility plans for the initial lab building on UCSF's Mission Bay Campus. Previously, assisted in the development of a long‑range infrastructure master plan for development of utilities and surface roadways in and around the 50 acre campus site.
